The Academic Success Centers (ASC)—formerly Teaching Learning Centers (TLC)— located on each campus, provide guidance and support to assist PHSC students in reaching their academic and personal goals. Each ASC has tutors who are able to help students overcome challenges to their academic success by answering questions and providing additional resources regarding coursework and study skills.
PHSC Writing Center
This site was created in order to provide a consistent source for information on essay writing, grammar, research, and using MLA and APA style for documenting sources to avoid plagiarism.

Additional Library Resources
PHSC libraries provide the informational resources that support all aspects of the College's instructional, administrative, and cultural functions. In addition, library instruction is offered to help each person at the college acquire the skills necessary to effectively use all available information resources.
Course reserve items are available for use in the library. A valid student ID is required to check out course reserve material. Please visit the information desk for assistance.
Student Library Orientation
The goal of these modules is to provide awareness of the services and resources available through the Library to help improve the learning experience of PHSC's students both within and outside of the classroom. Students can select an individual module for quick reference to learn about a specific topic or read through the entire course for a comprehensive learning experience.
